Camellia - Cherubs of the Valley (Home furnishings)

“Camellia – Cherubs of the Valley” is the outcome of the graduation project with Chamundi Textiles (Silk Mills) Limited,
Bengaluru as part of the course curriculum at National Institute of Fashion Technology, 2006-2010. Camellia represents
three collections of jacquard, dobby, embroidery and print concepts for home furnishings – Rich Noblesse, Judith Anne
and Goji Berries. As a design project, it is an assortment that portrays the different tastes of the European customer
segment of the company – classic, country and contemporary.



Collection 1 : Rich Noblesse

Group : Classic look
Customers : Sahco Hesslein, Nya Nordiska, Zimmer & Rohde, Lelievre, Rubelli, Fadini Borghi

A high end collection of sheers and traditional jacquards, along with textures, embroideries and dobby to create a more
classical feel. Inspired mainly from baroque, rococo and victorian influences add beauty, while geometry renders a modern touch.

Group : Country look
Customers : Manuel Canovas, Pierre Frey, Christian Fischbacher

A collection inspired from tulips, peonies and roses, Judith Anne represents country living, an ode to nature and the life around her.

Collection 3 : Goji Berries
Group : Contemporary look
Customers : Nobilis, Decortex, Donghia

A contemporary collection with a dominant color palette, rich in concept and equally suited to requirements in modern day design.
